Meet the Team
JILLIAN
CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Fitness-based, athletic pole. My background is in elite gymnastics, figure skating, and international competition showgirl — always rooted in strength, precision, and performance. As co-founder of Core Pole in 2016, I oversee all trick programs and student progressions. My eye and my standards are in every single class.
Approximately 20 years — co-founding Core Pole in 2016 was the natural next chapter.
Elite gymnastics, years of figure skating, an international showgirl career. Pole brought everything together — the athleticism, the artistry, the performance. It felt like home immediately.
Anatomy, body mechanics, and deep respect for what the human body can do when trained well. Watching students grow into instructors — so many of our team started as extraordinary students here — that never gets old.
Pole gave me a purpose beyond performance. Building Core Pole in 2016 gave me a space to pour everything I knew into something that genuinely changes people’s lives. Watching this community grow is something I’m incredibly proud of.
That they are more capable than they thought. The goal is always the same — belief in yourself, strong foundations, and a genuine love for the art. Seeing students become instructors themselves is the greatest reward.
TAHLIA
INSTRUCTOR
I love bringing performance energy into my classes — think showgirl flair meets pole artistry. I teach with expression and presence at the forefront.
Started in 2022. Within a year I was performing showgirl work on weekends and have since competed at debut level.
I fell in love with pole the moment I walked through the door. There wasn’t a day I wasn’t in the studio — it completely took over in the best way possible.
Pole gave me a creative home and a sense of purpose I didn’t know I was looking for. From student to coordinator and instructor in just a few years — that journey means everything.

I want students to leave feeling lit up — like they’ve discovered something exciting in themselves.
CATY
INSTRUCTOR
I’ve been pole dancing for six years and have been teaching for one. Since having a baby, I haven’t had the chance to join any solo competitions, but maybe one day soon! My favourite style is flow all styles, really as I love exploring fluidity and finding creative ways to move around the pole. While there are so many incredible people in the pole world, my biggest inspiration is my students. They consistently inspire me by showing up, trying something new, and putting in the work. What I love most about teaching is seeing people’s confidence grow both in their movements and their bodies.
JAMIE
INSTRUCTOR
I can teach most styles but these days I enjoy slow flow tricks with a focus on technique and funky transitions. I also love teaching static and slow flow sultry exotic dances.
Almost 17 years.
The most random reason — a girl at the dog park had just started and invited me along! She quit after one term. I almost gave in to the anxiety and gave up too, but here I am!
My students! I love taking requests. I’ve also had some amazing teachers and coworkers over the years.
That they learn something new — whether it’s about pole or about themselves. My classes are a chill space where we can all have a laugh and be our weird wonderful selves.

LAURA
INSTRUCTOR
Laura (also known as Lola Luxe) has been pole dancing for 13 years and began teaching pole in 2025. A two-time Frisk finalist (2022 & 2024), she has a deep love of exotic style dance, and is especially passionate about slinky floorwork, fluid transitions, and plenty of hair-ography!
Currently inspired by pole icons like Gracie, Vika, and Jazzy K (among many others), Laura brings both passion and creativity into every class.
AMELIA
INSTRUCTOR
Anything pretty and flowy. I love intricate and delicate movements that feel like you are gliding.
First touched a pole in 2015, training consistently since 2019.
I love the strength and the artform. You can learn so much about yourself and find your inner confidence!
The lovely students, learning how to be a better teacher for them, and the entire artform. Self expression is everything.
Pole has helped me grow so much as a person. I’ve met such lovely people and the supportive environment warms my heart.
I hope my students feel confident and learn to come out of their shells. Pole is a space for everyone.
AMY
INSTRUCTOR
Low flow and dance. Dramatic spins, leg waves, pirouettes and floorwork. I love sensual, romantic, moody and floaty dances. Your creativity, expression and discovery is limitless.
7 years. Began at Core24 and have never left.
I was bored with yoga and thought pole would be fun. Began at Core24 and never looked back.
Dance classes, watching performances, particularly flow and old school styles. I strongly admire our sw/stripper roots. I love cinematic moody music. We are going on that ride together!
Life changing. I took it up at 38 and it’s been a safe space of relaxation, expression, community and growth. Dance is my playground.
A sense of connection to dance and themselves. I want to bring a special piece of myself to share and that we all dance our little hearts out.
BONNIE
INSTRUCTOR
I’m a bit of a wildcard — whatever song speaks to me is what I gravitate to. Moody and sensual one week, stripper rock the next. With tricks, I’m all about combos with seamless transitions, a splitty element, and definitely on a spin pole!
Started in 2014. Had my daughter in 2018 and came back postpartum to start again from beginners.
A friend wanted to try it so I tagged along. I haven’t looked back!
Mind-body connection, music, and the constant challenge. A happy brain needs a healthy body and vice versa. I’ve also had some pretty badass instructors who I admire.
It’s been my creative outlet and sacred space. Pole improved my mental health, tapped me into a new level of confidence, and gave me lifelong friendships.
Belief in themselves, correct technique, self acceptance, and a good laugh.
BEC
INSTRUCTOR
I teach all levels of tricks as well as acro, basework flow and flexibility.
8 years.
I always thought it looked like fun, so I went to a beginner class to see if I liked it and never looked back.
Always being a student and making sure I never stop learning from the artists that inspire me.
I am so much more confident now and have so much more trust in my body and my ability to pick up new skills if I put my mind to it.
A love of learning and challenging themselves.
BRITT
INSTRUCTOR
Fun, energetic classes with a strong focus on building strength and technique alongside great movement.
Approximately 3 years.
My friend asked me to join with her randomly one day with no prior dance experience. I was terrified but fell in love from my very first class!
It makes me so happy seeing my students improve every week and gain confidence.
It’s the only form of exercise I have ever stuck with! I’m more confident in myself and there’s an amazing sense of community.
A good workout and a good time!
TENAYHA
INSTRUCTOR
I love teaching tricks and conditioning, but I’m always up for throwing in a bit of a boogie.
7 years.
A friend introduced me to pole after I kept seeing all the amazing things she was posting on social media, and I was instantly hooked.
My students inspire me every day. Watching them grow, overcome fears, and celebrate their wins is what shapes the way I teach.
Pole has given me so much confidence, both inside and outside the studio. It’s taught me to trust my body, back myself, and embrace the things that make me unique.
I hope my students leave feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of what they’ve achieved. Most importantly, I hope they feel like they’ve found a supportive community where they can truly be themselves.
JESS R
SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
I teach up to advanced level with a strong focus on performance quality. I’m known as the hardstyle queen — high energy, powerful and precise. I love pushing students to find their stage presence and own every move with confidence.
Over 11 years, including national-level competition and working alongside some of Australia’s most award-winning pole dancers.
My background in national competition has shaped everything about how I teach. I believe in honest, constructive feedback delivered with warmth. Being a mum of two has deepened my commitment to body empowerment.

Pole has given me confidence, community, and a creative outlet that’s entirely mine. It’s given me a platform to inspire others — especially other mums — to prioritise themselves and their strength.
Confidence, strength, and powerful stage presence. I want my students to leave standing taller, moving with intention, and believing in what their body can do.
